Whilst we do not seek out awards we are always very appreciative when receiving recognition and it is testimony to the hard work the staff put in to make Ilsington the place it is. Below are a selection of our more recent achievements.

Hotel of the Year, Devon Tourism Awards - Silver 2011/12

South West Tourism Excellence Awards-Small Hotel of the Year Finalist 2009/10
We won Silver for Small Hotel of the Year category by the South West Tourism Excellence Awards. Judges commented “With strengths in all departments and superb leisure facilities, it offers a solid traditional and very comfortable experience. This hotel will go from strength to strength.”

3 AA Stars (86%)
The Ilsington is pleased to have been awards 86 % and 3 stars by the AA. This percentage quality score makes us one of the highest rated 3 star hotels in Devon and Cornwall.

2 AA Rosettes
The Ilsington prides itself on its 2 AA rosette restaurant. Head Chef Mike O’Donnell has achieved and retained the rosettes for a staggering 8 years.

The Good Hotel Guide 2011 and 2012
The Ilsington Hotel is featured in the Good Hotel Guide. One long-time guide reader wrote in and praised it for its ‘friendly staff, comfortable rooms and superb food’. Entry into the Good Hotel Guide is on merit only and establishments do not pay to be in the Guide making it impartial, prestigious and unique.

TripAdvisor
In 2011 and 2012 we received a Certificate of Excellence Award from TripAdvisor for the high scores achieved in our reviews. The hotel currently has four and a half stars out of 5 based on reviews written by guests who have stayed in the hotel. Take a look yourself!
