Booking Conditions
Meals
- Breakfast served from 8.00am to 9.30am (10.00am Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays), £13.50. Children under 12, £10.50.
- Lunch served from 12 noon to 2.00pm. A light menu is available on the terrace or the lounge and a 2 or 3 course menu served in the restaurant is available on request at £17.95 or £15.95 for 2 courses (Monday to Saturday inclusive).
- Three-course choice Sunday Lunch in the dining room, £17.95. Children's portions £13.95.
- Cream Teas served in the lounge or on the lawn, £6.95.
- Three-course Table d'Hote Dinner served from 6.30pm to 9.00pm, £33.95. Two courses, £28.95. Children's portions for under 12's £22.50 (please see under Children above). To comply with the wishes of the majority of our guests we ask that dress is smart casual (a shirt with collar and long trousers).
Meals booked on inclusive terms and not taken cannot be credited.
Arrival and Departure
The check-out time is 11am on the day of departure and a charge may be made for any time over this; however we are always happy to store bags for you should you wish to stay longer. We will do our best to accommodate guests who arrive early, but we are unable to guarantee that your room will be available before 3pm on the day of arrival.
Deposit/Cancellations
Deposits sent with your letter of confirmation will be credited to your account on arrival. Cancellations of confirmed bookings received by the hotel up to 4 weeks prior to arrival will not be subject to a cancellation charge. Between 15 to 28 days in advance - 50% of total anticipated charges, between 7 to 14 days - 75% of anticipated charges, less than 7 days - 100% of anticipated charges. Any amount received for accommodation re-let on your behalf will be credited. Cancellation insurance is available and a proposal form will be sent to you on request.
Mobile Phones
We kindly request that mobile phones are not used in the public areas of the hotel.
Payment
We accept most of the regularly used credit cards. Guests wishing to pay by cheque for an amount that exceeds their guarantee card must seek the management's consent prior to arrival.
Local Activities Available
Walks directly out of the hotel on to the moorm horseriding at nearby stables, river, reservoir and sea fishing nearby, tennis courts, all-weather bowling green and children's play area are available 300 yards from the hotel (these are charged locally). Golf is available at some of Devon and Cornwall's best courses. Cycling, sailing and much, much more are within easy reach.
Private & Meeting Rooms
The hotel has a variety of Meeting Rooms and can accommodate numbers from 2 to 100. We can provide a wide range of equipment including Flip Charts, OHP's and Data Projectors. In addition the entire Hotel has a wireless Broadband connection. Should you require a Private Room for dining, we have a number of options available. Please ask for further details.
